Yemen Information Center (YIC) Signs a Cooperation and Partnership Agreement with Woman Research and Training Center at Aden University
On November 13, 2024, Yemen Information Center (YIC) for Research and Media in Aden signed a cooperation and partnership agreement with Woman Research and Training Center at the University of Aden. The agreement aims to enhance joint efforts in training and research in social, humanitarian, and developmental fields.
The agreement, signed by Dr. Shimaa Hwaider, YIC Director in Aden, and Dr. Huda Ali Alawi, from Woman Research and Training Center, includes plans to exchange scientific and research expertise and information; implement training programs and activities in various fields related to women and social issues; coordinate conferences and seminars; and produce joint scientific and research outputs to support research and training efforts.
Following the agreement, Hwaider stressed the importance of this collaboration in various development fields and diverse training programs, contributing to achieving the goals and missions of both parties in serving the community. This includes supporting efforts from various local and international stakeholders in social, humanitarian, developmental, and research fields through community awareness and education, and building an information base on various societal issues.
She explained that this agreement is a significant achievement for YIC, particularly given the Woman Center's extensive experience in training and scientific research addressing social issues, especially women's issues.
Dr. Huda emphasized the importance of the joint agreement, which will facilitate the exchange of research expertise and information. This includes supporting research and media studies related to social and humanitarian issues, supporting joint specialized scientific studies, adopting and disseminating these studies through media, contributing to national development in various economic, developmental, and social fields, and promoting peace, tolerance, and social coexistence across various Yemeni governorates.
